The place is very run down and old, nothing has been properly maintained or updated. Half the ceiling fans did not work at all, and then the owner had an issue when we had to change rooms due to the ceiling fan issue.

The cottage is an old farmhouse and has all the charm that goes with it. There was plenty of place for our kids to let loose and enjoy their break from the city. Pet was very welcoming and ensured that we were settled in and had everything we needed.

The weekend at Willibar was extremely peaceful, just what we needed after a turbulent period in our lives. Pet and Barney are incredibly friendly and helpful. Would recommend the place to anyone who just wants to get away from it all and recharge. Many tourist attractions located nearby for next time we visit Willibar.
Accommodation was clean and tidy with everything needed. Pet was very friendly and quiet above us. Willibar has few signs to indicate route. We couldn't find the pool and there are no information brochures.

The cottage was very clean with all the basic amenities. There is enough parking for 3 cars. The pool was also clean and well maintained, but is a short walk away from the cottage. The service and personal touches from the owners were also appreciated. Would definitely recommend as good value for money accommodation.

We were very well received and could not have asked for better. Pet makes you feel so welcome right from the start and kept me informed the whole time with communication about our stay and other arrangements regarding our arrival. Even when the lightning knocked out the power, Pet brought us boiled water in a flask, so that we could enjoy our morning cup of coffee and tea on the large veranda. The Cottage has plenty of space and can handle 6 people with ease and the bathroom and shower facilities are adequate. Thank you very much Pet, our visit there was unfortunately just too short. Will definitely stay there again and definitely stay longer. I would definitely recommend the hospitality of the owners.
We had a wonderful reception. Willibar's people put signs along the path up to the apartment with the guests' names on them, needless to say, I felt super special! They also waited for us and showed us around. The apartment is very spacious and very tidy. The photos on the page actually fall short of what the apartment really looks like. We sat outside in the evening, looking over the lights and listening to the roar of the lions.
We only stayed one night, such a pity. Facilities at Willibar are great. 6 Sleeper cottage is spacious and well appointed. The owners go the extra mile to make sure everything is fine. Contacted us a few times to make sure we have the correct directions. Next time we'll make a weekend of it.
Very peaceful, farm surroundings with a stunning view over Hartbeespoort Dam.
We were in the area for the Warrior Race over the weekend. It was a great place with the children to get away from the noise of every day life.
The view is beautiful and the client service excellent. Didn't experience any problems and it exceeded my expectations. Relaxing and the staff go out of their way to make they stay enjoyable.
My expectations was exceeded. The cottage is a pleasant house with spacious rooms where you can really live in. The view is awesome and the tranquility and silence of nature immediately takes you to a holiday resting place. This will definitely be one of our "have to visit again" destinations.
The three days we were there were a good chance to get away. Just what we were looking for. The accommodation is located in a very beautiful place and the view is fantastic. The dirt road there is not that bad at all. Wood was provided for the braai and the braai and living area was cleaned every day. We didn't even wash the dishes, didn't even make the bed. I would highly recommend the place. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I just had trouble finding the place with my GPS, but think he's a bit old. The price is very cheap for what we got. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

We loved it! Stayed in the cottage with space for 6. Great was our surprize to find it is a full farm house! It has a view over the dam and braai area for lovely evenings. The road to the farm is not good and you need a high vehicle. We did not need anything and all was extremely clean. In the morning we even heard lions roar nearby at a property next door!
